Tuairisc Aontaithe – Cruinniú 20/08/13
Bhí cruinniú ag an mBord Bainistíochta Dé Máirt 20/08/13.
- Fuair an Bord litir ó Mhartina Ní Fhátharta ag cur in iúl go bhfuil sí ag éirí as a post mar phríomhoide na scoile ag deireadh mí Lúnasa. Tá post faighte aici i gColáiste Mhuire gan Smál agus guíonn an Bord gach rath uirthi sa phost seo agus gabhaimid buíochas léi as ucht gach rud atá déanta aici don scoil le linn a tréimhse anseo. Beidh Príomhoide Táinisteach na scoile, Ríona Uí Cheallaigh, ag feidhmiú mar phríomhoide go dtí go gceaptar príomhoide buan. Tá an córas earcaíochta tosaithe cheana féin.
- Ba mhaith leis an mBord a mbuíochas a ghabháil le Laura Nic Eoin as ucht a tréimhse mar phríomhoide agus guímid gach rath uirthi i mBaile Átha Cliath.
- Ghlac an Bord le moladh an Bhoird Agallaimh go gceapfar Sandra Ní Dhubháin i bpost sealadach don scoilbhliain 2013/2014.
- Beidh Dara Ó Sé ag ionadaíocht i Rang 1 go dtí go bhfilleann Ríona ar a post.
- Mar is eol do phobal na scoile tharla cruinniú idir ionadaithe ón mBord agus an Roinn Oideachas agus Scileanna i mí an Mheithimh. Bhí roinnt ceisteanna i leith an fhoirgnimh. Bhí an Bord ag obair le linn an tSamhraidh chun na ceisteanna sin a fhreagairt. Tá coinníollacha na Roinne comhlíonta ag an mBord anois agus táimid ag feitheamh ar fhreagra ón Roinn.
A meeting of the Board of Management took place on Tuesday August 20th 2013.
- The Board accepted a letter of resignation from Martina Ní Fhátharta. Martina is resigning as principal of the school to take up a position in Mary Immaculate College. The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Martina for all she has done for the school and we wish her every success in her new position. Ríona Uí Cheallaigh, our Deputy Principal, will be Acting Principal until the permanent position is filled. The recruitment process has already begun.
- The Board will also like to thank Laura Nic Eoin for all her hard work in Gaelscoil Sáirséal, we wish her the very best of luck in Dublin.
- The Board accepted the recommendation of the Interview panel that Sandra Ní Dhubháin be appointed to the temporary position in the school for the 2013/2014 school year.
- Dara O Sé will be teaching Rang 1 until Ríona returns to her position.
- The Board has spent the summer collecting the required information in order to fully answer the questions raised by the Department of Education and Skills in the meeting that took place in June. All of the conditions have now been met and forwarded to the Department and we are currently awaiting an answer from them.
